Custom Sawmilling, our most popular service
Sawmilling of logs into slabs and lumber can occur at our Winchendon facility or at your property. Most customers bring their logs to us for a variety of reasons.
Most sawmilling is done with our thin kerf(blade) band sawmill which can handle log diameters of up to 36". Choosing a bandsaw mill over a circular minimizes waste and gets you the most wood.
Custom Kiln Drying Services
We offer controlled, professional kiln drying for hardwoods and softwoods, whether you milled your own logs or need a finishing step before a furniture project. Our insulated dehumidification kiln provides stable temperatures, consistent airflow, and monitored moisture reduction for reliable results.
Pricing Structure
Kiln drying involves significant setup time, handling labor, and kiln occupancy regardless of batch size. Because small batches use nearly the same time and labor as full loads, we use tiered pricing to keep turnaround times fair for all customers:

200+ bdft$1.00 per bdft
Minimum Charge: $100 per kiln run
This structure ensures small custom loads are still available while prioritizing larger batches that keep kiln scheduling efficient.
